Totem Typography

This assignment was to make a typography with a theme. I have always been so fascinated with the Pacific Northwest Native American tribes and their cultural relation with nature. The totems have always been an iconic part of the culture. They are truly masterpieces of art. Every totem has a meaning. I took a few popular totem animals and created the totems seen below. I created a font that is meant to feel very organic to label and compliment each totem animal.
